A small development of 8 units. Our client, an experienced building contractor, was taking their first step into developments and was looking for assistance carrying out an assessment of land values and potential reasons why the development would not work operationally and commercially.
We were ultimately able to help identify issues with ground conditions, unsatisfactory design, and site constraints, resulting in a material reduction in the agreed purchase price of the land.
Works are ongoing. Currently, we are involved in all aspects of establishing a budget, appointing subcontractors, project management, and assisting with a revised planning application to the local authority.
